The Peninsula Resort & Spa is located in the heart of Crete on the outskirts of Agia Pelagia village – only 25km from Heraklion, the capital of the island. The resort is built amphitheatrically on a peninsula of distinctive natural beauty. Situated between the bays of Mononaftis and Psaromoura, it offers unique panoramic sea views as well as direct access to three different beaches, unlike any other accommodation in the area.

At the Peninsula, guests get to enjoy both the secluded environment and proximity to most well-known sites and attractions of the island. The waters surrounding the resort are usually very calm and crystal-clear – a truly unique phenomenon. These two bays are some of the few spots that are largely protected from the frequent winds that affect the North coast of the island. It is truly a swimmer’s paradise – a great place to experience the Mediterranean Sea.

The complex is comprised of the main building, an annexe building as well as a network of Bungalows offering fantastic sea views. With a total of 270 guest rooms, a variety of different Room Types are available: Double Rooms, Family Rooms, Suites and Bungalows. Resort facilities include three outdoor pools, an indoor spa and pool, two restaurants, four bars, a small convenience store, tennis courts and a multi-use court.

Food and Beverages

Be adventurous during meal times. Try a variety of dishes and make the most of the bottomless buffet at our Main Restaurant. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are included in your package as well as a list of beverages and snacks at our Bars. Drinks are available until 23:00 at our Pool Bar.

Sports and Animation

A range of activities are included in your package, as well as access to our tennis courts and multi-use court. Sports equipment is available at the Front Desk or at the Animation Box adjacent to the stage. Many group activities are also organized by our animation team. A typical day consists of a morning exercise session, aerobics and/or aqua gym, group sports as well as a variety of games. Evening entertainment then takes place at the resort’s Pool Bar and Theatre (weather permitting). The day ends with music and dancing. The music stops at 23:00pm.

Activities include: Water polo, gymnastics, aerobics, aqua gym, darts, table tennis, mini-football, half-court basketball, yoga / stretching, volleyball, pétanque, open-air cinema, miscellaneous games, dance competitions, quizzes, sketches and mini-disco for children.

For the Kids

A Mini-Club is available during school holidays for children aged 4–12. Our Animation Team supervises the children and organizes a variety of activities such as face-painting, games, dancing, drawing and more! The team is fluent in English and French. All nationalities are welcome despite any language barriers. It is the perfect way for children to socialise and have fun. Youngsters also get to enjoy the Kids’ Water Slides and Pool, which is located near the Mini-Club. Parents are welcome to stick around and join in! The play area, equipment and slides are available for use throughout the entire holiday season. Please note that if the Mini-Club is not in operation, children must be supervised at all times.

Housekeeping

A housekeeping service is available daily to ensure your comfort. We replace towels on a daily basis unless informed otherwise. More frequent towel changes are also possible upon request. Linens are changed every two days. We conduct additional room checks in the evenings to ensure your satisfaction.
A Laundry service (which includes: dry cleaning, washing and ironing) is also available with a small additional fee per item. Please use the form provided inside your wardrobe.
A baby cot can be included in your room upon request, with no added fee.
Beach towels are included in certain room types. Otherwise they are available and can be collected from the Front Desk. A €10 deposit is required and is fully refunded when the towel is returned. If you wish to change your towel, the cost is €2 per change.

Wi-Fi and More

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort for our All-Inclusive guests. Log on seamlessly in all communal areas and guest rooms. Each guest room is also equipped with a satellite TV.

Check-in and Checkout

A porter is available to assist you with your luggage upon arrival and departure. Please inform the Front Desk when your bags are ready for collection. Our Front Desk is available 24/7 and is ready to accommodate you with any questions or problems you may have.

Please return your room key / card prior to departure. You will be charged a €5 administration fee if the card is not returned. Desktop use and printing services are also available near the Front Desk.

Please inform the Front Desk when you are ready to leave your room so that a staff member may assist you with your luggage.

A wake-up call service is available upon request. Please arrange this by dialling 9 or visiting the Front Desk.

If you have a late departure, kindly inform our staff so that we can inform you about the available storage options for your luggage. Depending on availability, we may be able to offer a late checkout or provide access to day-use rooms where you can freshen up and change. Your comfort is important to us, and we’re here to assist you.
