The Peninsula Resort and Spa is located in the heart of Crete on the outskirts of Agia Pelagia village – only 25km from Heraklion, the capital of the island. The resort is built amphitheatrically on a peninsula of distinctive natural beauty. Situated between the bays of Mononaftis and Psaromoura, it offers unique panoramic sea views as well as direct access to three different beaches, unlike any other accommodation in the area.
At the Peninsula, guests get to enjoy both the secluded environment and proximity to most well-known sites and attractions of the island. The decorative and architectural style of the hotel is elegant yet minimal, maintaining elements of Greek vernacular architecture. White washed walls, arches and earthy tones define the overall design aesthetic.
The complex is comprised of the main building, an annex building as well as a network of bungalows offering fantastic sea views. With a total of 270 guest rooms, a variety of different room types are available: Double Rooms, Family Rooms, Suites and Bungalows. Resort facilities include three outdoor pools, an indoor spa and pool, one main restaurant, two à la carte restaurants, four bars, a small convenience store, tennis courts and a multi-use court.
